Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Simulation and Multibody Dynamics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in simulation tools and methodologies, with a focus on Multibody Dynamic Simulation. You will be responsible for conducting simulations, analyzing results, and supporting projects across various domains, including product design, acoustics, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Simulation and Analysis:

    • Perform simulations using tools such as Altair Hyperworks, Star-CCM+, Simpack, and Ansys.

    • Conduct Multibody Dynamic Simulations with Simpack to model and analyze mechanical systems.

    • Leverage acoustic tools for noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) analysis.

  2. Sustainability Tools:

    • Utilize tools like EIME and GABI for eco-design and life cycle assessment (LCA).

    • Provide insights to enhance sustainability in product development.

  3. Software and License Management:

    • Handle license contract renewals for simulation tools.

    • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure uninterrupted tool availability.

  4. Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work closely with design, engineering, and product teams to provide simulation insights.

    • Prepare detailed simulation reports and presentations for stakeholders.

  5. Continuous Learning:

    • Stay updated on the latest advancements in simulation technologies and tools.

    • Suggest and implement improvements to existing simulation workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Hands-on experience with Altair tools (Hyperworks), Star-CCM+, Simpack, Ansys, and acoustic analysis tools.

    • Proficiency in Multibody Dynamic Simulation using Simpack.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with eco-design tools such as EIME and GABI is a plus.
